Robert Schmidt
Robert Schmidt is a resident of Baldivis, Western Australia, originally from Kalgoorlie in regional Western Australia. He is a dedicated, focused, and professional individual with extensive experience and a broad range of transferable skills that would benefit any organisation. Robert currently serves as the Deputy Mayor of the City of Rockingham and is employed as a Student Support Officer at a local secondary school.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Robert has been a volunteer firefighter for 13 years and has served as President of a sporting club with a membership base of 800. He is also a life member of two sporting clubs. Robert is presently undertaking a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Political Science and International Relations at Griffith University.
My Goals
My overarching goal for 2026 is to further my professional development by successfully completing all enrolled subjects with at least a Pass grade. To achieve this, I will maintain effective time management practices across my professional roles, volunteer commitments, and academic studies. By consistently prioritising tasks, allocating dedicated study periods, and monitoring my progress throughout the year, I aim to ensure continuous growth in my professional knowledge and skills throughout 2026. This will help me achieve my long-term goal of working in Policy Development in the National Security or Foreign Affairs.
